Prehistoric takes you back in time to see what stood, lived, fought and died in our own back yards hundreds, thousands and even millions of years ago.
Watch as the high-rises and sprawl of modern Los Angeles revert to farmland and settlements, then desert. Spinning back further in time, a lush green land prowled by woolly mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers is revealed. Back even further, the land itself forms as two continental plates slam together in a violent upheaval. Rewinding to the age of dinosaurs, witness pterodactyls circling the skies over an ancient ocean filled with sharp-toothed marine dinosaurs in search of their prehistoric prey.
Merging modern day architecture with a unique cast of bizarre extinct creatures, explore the action that took place across some of the biggest cities in the United States, including New York, Washington DC and Los Angeles.
