Based on Takafumi Takada's beloved 2-volume novel of the same name, Onigamiden (in Japanese) tells the action-packed story of a 15-year-old boy who goes 1,200 years back in time to find his unlikely destiny as the saviour to end the war between humans and demons. His spectacular journey thrusts him into a mysterious past full of monsters, dragons, and strange hidden powers, and through a series battles and adventures, he is transformed from a shy middle school boy into a hero destined to battle evil and ensure harmony and tranquillity in the world.
